Whenever possible, opt for traditional sailing yachts or guided electric/solar charters. Sailing allows you to experience the turquoise lagoons of La Maddalena in complete silence, leaving zero carbon footprint behind.
2. Strict Distance & Speed Compliance
Respect local maritime regulations: strictly observe the 300-metre distance rule from beaches and maintain low speeds in bays to prevent wave erosion on sensitive shores.
3. Mindful Anchoring & Mooring
Never drop anchor on seagrass meadows or inside zone-A marine reserves. Always use designated eco-mooring buoys or anchor exclusively in sandy patches.
4. Support Experienced Local Skippers
If renting a motor vessel, choose a professional local captain rather than self-driving without local knowledge. A local skipper ensures safe navigation, deep knowledge of wind conditions, and respectful interaction with the sea.
