Coolvoyage Sardinia – Vision, Objectives, Methodology
Our Vision
Coolvoyage Sardinia was created to tell the story of a genuine, sustainable and accessible island.
The project goes beyond glossy, seasonal tourism to offer a more real, lived and culturally rich experience of Sardinia.
This is not just a travel guide — it’s a platform rooted in local communities, connected to slow travel, van life, and responsible outdoor exploration.
Our goal is to present Sardinia not as a “postcard destination”, but as a living laboratory of culture, nature and social innovation.
Our Objectives
- Promote sustainable, decentralised tourism with a focus on lesser-known areas and off-season travel.
- Support local communities by showcasing artisans, small businesses, cultural projects, and local food producers.
- Build international connections through bilingual content (English/Italian) and replicable formats for other EU regions.
- Combine outdoor, cultural and digital experiences, encouraging inclusive, customisable and conscious travel.
- Generate measurable impact, using monitoring tools (KPIs), storytelling, and partnerships.
Our Methodology
Coolvoyage Sardinia is built on an open and blended approach that combines:
- Authentic storytelling → lived experiences from travellers, hosts, and communities.
- Dynamic mapping → of van life spots, hiking trails, cultural heritage and local production.
- Local and international partnerships → with public bodies, cultural organisations and European networks.
- Data and impact tracking → analysis of tourism, cultural and social impact for grant applications and policymaking.
- Replicable formats → adaptable frameworks for other island or rural territories (Cool Guides Network).
