Erasmus+ 2026/27

The project aims to strengthen youth engagement in environmental sustainability within Mediterranean territories where tourism significantly affects local ecosystems and communities. Starting from the context of Sardinia and working in cooperation with partners from Spain and Greece, the project establishes a structured transnational framework that connects local analysis, intercultural dialogue and collective output development.
The first objective is to increase young people’s understanding of the environmental impact of seasonal and coastal tourism in fragile territories. This objective directly contributes to the priority “Environment and fight against climate change” by encouraging critical reflection and responsible behaviours linked to real territorial dynamics.
The second objective is to reinforce youth participation and civic engagement by involving young people in a structured process that leads to the formulation of practical recommendations for more sustainable tourism models. This is aligned with the priority “Common values, civic engagement and participation”, as participants actively contribute to shared outputs rather than remaining passive learners.
The third objective is to ensure inclusive participation by engaging young people with fewer opportunities, particularly from rural, island and peripheral areas. This reflects the priority “Inclusion and diversity”, ensuring equal access to meaningful European cooperation and non-formal learning experiences.
The main expected results include increased environmental awareness, strengthened intercultural and collaborative competences, the co-creation of a Youth Eco-Tourism Charter for Mediterranean Islands, and the development of a youth- led Digital Guide for Green and Inclusive Tourism. Together, these outputs translate learning into tangible and transferable results.
